Volunteer & Support Opportunities
2nd Annual Christmas In Pender Festival of Trees November 23rd-24th, 2024. Saturday 10-5pm. Sunday 1-5pm. Location: Family Life Center gymnasium on the grounds of Hampstead United Methodist Church at 15395 Hwy 17, Hampstead, NC 28443.
Many volunteer and support opportunities are available. We welcome participation from schools, faith communities, businesses, residential communities, individuals, and civic groups. This holiday event displays beautifully decorated artificial trees and wreaths which can be purchased for your enjoyment. A variety of holiday market vendors will be showcasing their skills and items while children enjoy making ornaments at the craft table. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be on site for visits and photos.
Get Involved Now
- Donate a decorated wreath. “Big & Beautiful”
- Sponsor & decorate an artificial pre lit tree for silent auction. “Big & Beautiful” – Ribbons awarded!(7.5ft. pencil tree can be provided by PSCF if needed)
- Serve as an event sponsor at levels of $1,000 (Santa), $500 (Rudolph), $250 (Elf)
- Create a Gingerbread House for display. Anyone can participate. Ribbons awarded!
- Serve as a holiday market arts/craft vendor.
- Volunteer - “Visit with Santa”. Do you know someone who would enjoy being one of the Santas?
- Volunteer by decorating the space around the large Santa chair.
- Volunteer to wrap large boxes with bows to be used for decorations in the gym and entry way.
- Volunteer during the event.
- Volunteer to secure decorated wreaths from the community. Host to decorate wreaths with friends.
- Performers needed to provide live entertainment. Musicians, vocalists, choirs, children, adults.
- Serve on the Festival of Trees Committee. First meeting on Wednesday, September 25th @ 9:30am in the gym at Hampstead United Methodist Church. Get your friends together and enjoy the fun!
